Citizen Mark Hill
Originally from London, England, Mark ‘Fatt Max’ Hill is a songwriter, musician, producer and performing artist based in Auckland New Zealand.
His musical journey spans over 50 years and is a dedicated follower of the blues in all its forms. He is currently working on a number of projects under his production company, Stomping Hog Recordings and collaborates with other musicians in NZ and all over the world.
He hosted the New Zealand based radio show The Blues Machine for 5 years and enjoys regular indulgences in local jam nights and music festivals.
He also builds home made guitars from scrap materials such as cigar boxes, licence plates and hub caps, keeping the tradition of old style blues alive and kicking down under.
Performing under the name ‘Fatt Max’ he has released a number of albums and EP’s with many more in the pipeline.
